That was the plan! I'm glad I didn't do what I though would be better, and put new layers on for all the detail on the smaller bits...Four's scarf took about half an hour /anyway/. o_o

... Dude. This rocks. {X D Everyone is really well-represented. One could maybe use more work, but I imagine it's hard to find references for him. The shading on Five (I think; Davison!Doc) is probably the best, as well as Four's scarves. I like the bit of texture there. The lines where the lips meet should be fine and dark, though--that's one of the darkest points on the face. The darkest are the pupils, followed by that line, the nostrils, and the hollow in the upper lip (if the person has that--some don't). I'm glad to see you are using some harder lines here, though. You tend to like the airbrush a bit too much, I think. {= )
And if that doesn't teach you about inviting advanced critique... ^_~
Overall, though, let me know whether or not you're doing a background so I'll know whether to +fav this or wait. *g*
I think the main issue there is the way I'm inking; my inking pen has died and I now use a thin sharpie, so all of my lines are super-dark. I actually had to go in and erase part of Five, because the ink went sloppy. Sigh. Hopefully I can get another pen and fix this. But Five's shading was a bit earlier in the night, so I think there's a marked difference between 'Early' and 'Dayum is it really 4 AM?' And One..well..refrences. Argh. One picture, I think, in the right pose. >_< *builds a library of refrences*
And Four's scarf is love. It had best be love, anyway, because it took much longer than anything except the whole of Six's Coat.
The sharper lines are all thanks to the loverly people I run things by on LJ who pointed me to layeeers. Yay layers.
*loffs the critique*
And I might someday, because I get bored, but for now it's staying this way. Fav away, Nesh.

You should see if you can find some fine Micron pens. I have some (.01, .03, and .05, I think) and they're very nice when I want to use ink at all. Any art supply store should have them, or possibly someplace like Staples or Office Max.
~Neshomeh, who needs to put a background on the pic she's working on, come to think of it, but rock is so boring... might have to stylize it...

~Blayze, who likes to pretend her characters are on snow backgrounds. In a blizzard. And wonders when Nesh will be online next, *un-subtle hint*
